Q. What is the main difference between the four types of balls?
  • The plastic (polyester) ball skids more easily because it has low friction and maintains a straighter trajectory.
  • The reactive ball skids like the plastic ball on the oil, but it has a stronger hooking power on dry zone.
  • The particle ball has similar characteristics to the reactive one, but it has more grip on the oil.
  • The urethane ball has a higher friction surface than the plastic ball. It slides less and therefore it will hook more.


    • Q. How do I change a ball texture (skin)?
  • Go to the folder:
    ...\Program Files\GlobalBowling15\GlobalBowling_res\BallsMap
  • By using your favorite paint program, modify one of the BallMpXX.jpg files.
  • Do not change the file name, when you save it.


    • Q. How do I take a screenshot?
    Press the F10 key to save a screenshot of the current display.
    The screen is saved to the "...\Program Files\GlobalBowling15" folder as a .bmp file.
